In this camp, your child will learn the basics of machine sewing in a fun and encouraging environment.  Fun, colorful pre-cut fabrics will be provided for each child to choose from for the quilt he/she will make.  By the end of the camp, each child will have made his/her own 27"x40" quilt.  This camp will provide your child with valuable hands-on learning experience and the reward of a completed project.

Class Requirements:  Campers are advised to bring their own sewing machine if you have one (Limited sewing machines available) and some machine sewing experience is recommended.

Days:  Monday - Thursday
Dates:  July 11 - 14, 2022 and July 18 - 21, 2022
Time:  1:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M.
Fees:  $80 (M)*, $120 (NM), $160 (NR)

Materials Fee - $20 payable on the first day of class (Checks can be made out to "Cecilia Dalrymple")

Instructor:  Cecilia Dalrymple
Cecilia is an Oakwood High School graduate in the class of 2022.  She has 3 sisters and is very involved in 4-H with her family.  Cecilia has been sewing for over 10 years and has completed numerous quilting and clothing projects through 4-H.  She has led 4-H meetings to teach her club to sew quilts and has been her sister's project helper, teaching her to quilt.  Cecilia values the skills involved in quilting and wants to help others learn how to sew.
