Camp Shafor
Here comes another fun season of Camp Shafor!  This recreational camp gives children an opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of activities including field trips, crafts, games and lots of fun!  Our Friday field trip will take us to exciting new locations each session.  You will need to plan on dropping off and picking up your child from the Friday location.  Each camper will receive an email before the start of camp with important information.  Parents will also need to fill out a participation form that is linked on MyRec.  Please fill out this participation form after registration and email to hayes@oakwoodohio.gov or turn into the Camp Counselors the first day of camp.  Please make sure you provide your email upon registration!  Space is limited so register early!

Parents will need to drop off and pick up children from Friday field trip locations.
Jurassic Park
Theme: Jurassic Park
Ever wonder what it was like to roam the earth with the Dinosaurs? Well, this week of Camp Shafor, campers will get a feeling of what it would have been like! Whether you have a favorite dinosaur such as the great T-Rex or sneaky Velociraptor, campers will get to learn about a bunch of the dinosaurs this week. Campers may even get to hatch their own baby dinosaur. Camp counselors will have some fun crafts and activities planned for this week of camp at Jurassic Park!

Builders - Engineers
Theme: Builders and Engineers
Campers get ready for a fun week of building and constructing! Learn what it takes to build your own castle or house from scratch. Camp counselors will be teaching campers the fundamentals of a good build and the important traits in engineering. If you dream of becoming an engineer one day and building something of your own, you will not want to miss out on this week at Camp Shafor!

Around the World
Theme: Around the World in 5 Days
Pack your bags and get ready to travel the world! At this week of Camp Shafor, campers will get to learn about all the fun places they can travel to around the world. Whether it’s the great pyramids of Egypt or the Amazon rainforests, camp counselors will have a lot of fun activities and crafts planned this week to make the trip fun. Whether you are traveling by plane, boat, or hot air balloon, you won’t want to miss out on this fun week of Camp Shafor.

Music Fest
Theme: Music Fest
Get ready to jam out to some of your favorite music during this week of Camp Shafor! Whether your favorite music is country or hip hop, campers will get to learn all about the instruments that make it happen. Camp counselors will also be teaching some fun dance moves to show off at your next dance party. At the end of the week, campers will get to put on their own music fest for the rest of the campers! Don’t miss out on another fun week of Camp Shafor!
