• GARDNER POOL OPENS FOR THE 2026 SUMMER SEASON ON SATURDAY, MAY 23, 2026!!  THE HOURS ARE 12:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. EVERY DAY!  THERE WILL BE TIMES THE POOL HOURS MAY BE DIFFERENT DUE TO WEATHER, STAFFING ISSUES, ETC.
• Attention Orchardly Park Splash Pad Users: 
  IMPORTANT CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENT
   
  The Orchardly Park Splash Pad is currently closed for repairs. The issue involves an aging and outdated control panel and equipment system that needs to be updated and replaced.
  The current system operates wirelessly, but newer splash pad technology has shifted back toward hard-wired systems for improved reliability and monitoring capabilities. Replacement parts must be ordered and installed, which will take some time.
   
  We explored temporary options to keep the splash pad operating; however, doing so would require bypassing portions of the control system, which would leave the water running continuously and limit our ability to properly monitor water quality and chlorine levels. Because safety remains our top priority, that is not an option we are comfortable pursuing.
   
  We understand the frustration and appreciate everyone’s patience while repairs are completed. We are hopeful the splash pad will be back in operation within the next month.
   
  In the meantime, residents can still enjoy the splash pad at Shafor Park.
