Kiddie Kamp
Kiddie Kamp is a magical time for children ages 4 - 6.  This camp is designed with Pre-K and Kindergarten kids in mind.  We will provide a wide variety of activities that will keep them moving, laughing and enjoying the summer.  The camps will meet Monday through Thursday in Shafor Park.  Each camper will receive an email before the start of camp with important information.  Parents will also need to fill out a participation form that is linked on MyRec.  Please fill out this participation form after registration and email to hayes@oakwoodohio.gov or turn in to the Camp Counselors the first day of camp.  Please make sure you provide your email upon registration!  Space is limited so register early to be sure your child doesn't miss the fun!



Theme: “To Infinity and Beyond!”
Get ready to explore the galaxy with Buzz Lightyear and all his friends! At this week of camp, campers will get to learn all about the solar system. Put on your Buzz Lightyear suit as we get ready to blast off into space and explore the planets and stars that make up our solar system. You will not want to miss out on this, “Out of the World Mission”!
Days:  Monday - Thursday
Dates:  June 10, 2024 - June 13, 2024



Theme: Winter Wonderland
For this week, campers will get to cool down a little during the hot summer temps. Campers will get to enjoy some of their favorite winter crafts and games in the summer time. There will be fun snowy activities and games all centered around Winter Wonderland. We have some fun snowflake crafts to make and even a snowball fight. You won’t want to miss this week of camp for a chance to “cool down”!

Theme: Enchanted Forest
Campers, get ready to explore the depths of the enchanted forests where you can find all kinds of fun creatures hiding within the mushroom plants and large trees. During this week of camp, campers will get to use their imaginations to think of some of their favorite characters they may find hiding in their enchanted forests. Watch out for the fairies and dragons you may find in the enchanted forest.

Theme: Wild Wild West
YeeHaw!! Campers, strap on your boots and cowboy and cowgirl hats as we get ready to learn all about the Wild Wild West for this week of camp! Campers will get to make their own wild west outfits and learn how to wrangle a bull. You will not want to miss out on this week of camp for a “Rootin Tootin” good time!

Dates:  July 15, 2024 - July 18, 2024



Theme: Gardening    
Get ready to get your hands dirty at this week’s camp. Campers will get to grow their own plants and/or vegetables to take home. At this camp, campers will also get to learn how plants grow, how they get their nutrients, and maybe taste some of the food that you can grow in your own garden at home!

Dates:  July 22, 2024 - July 25, 2024

Fees:  4 day class $40 (M)*, $60 (NM), $80 (NR)
