Pre-Kinder/Kindergarten Youth Basketball (ages 5 & 6)

Preschool Basketball
This league is geared toward the younger players.  Players will practice basic fundamentals including shooting, free throws, dribbling and defense.  This league will have an emphasis on education, sportsmanship and teamwork.  No league or individual stats or standings are maintained.  Teams will be co-ed.

All teams will have one weeknight (Monday - Thursday) practice and one weekend (Saturday) practice or game.  Teams could practice at any time between 6:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. on the weekdays.  Saturday practices/games can be anywhere from 8:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

Volunteer Coaches are needed!  If interested, please fill out a coach's application form when registering and either email to hayes@oakwoodohio.gov or turn in at the OCC, 105 Patterson Rd. A link to the application form can be found below.

A mandatory coaches meeting will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 6:00 P.M.  This meeting will be held at the OCC.  All schedules, rosters and rules will be given out at this meeting.  If you cannot attend, please email hayes@oakwoodohio.gov ASAP.

Please Note:  A coach will contact players after November 29, 2023.  Complete Schedules and rosters will be emailed after November 29, 2023.  Please provide a valid email address when registering.

Siblings will be placed on the same team unless otherwise specified. All other special requests are "NOT" guaranteed!! All requests must be made before the registration deadline. 

Registration Deadline:  Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 11:59 P.M.

Practice begins:  Monday, December 4, 2023
Dates: December 4, 2023 - March 2, 2024

Fees:  $30 (M)*, $45 (NM), $60 (NR)

Location:  Edwin D. Smith Elementary and Harman Elementary Schools
