Oakwood Ballet
Ballet 1 (ages 6 & 7, first grade)
First grade students explore the organizational and structural beauty of classical ballet. Elementary vocabulary is introduced in French with an emphasis on form, posture, coordination…and fun!
 
Dress Code: Pink footed tights, pink round neck short-sleeve leotard (Bloch # CL5402) pink leather ballet shoes (Bloch or Capezio). Hair in a bun.
Pro Tip-Required Skirt: This course requires a specific ballet skirt which will be available at our first lesson at cost: $20.00. All additional supplies are available online at: blochworld.com. Ballet shoes can be properly fitted in person at Got Dance, 2210 Andrew Road.

Dates Session 1:  September 6, 2023 - October 11, 2022  (No lesson September 27, 2023; Make-up lesson on Friday, September 29, 2023)
Dates Session 2:  October 25, 2023 - December 6, 2023 (No lesson November 22, 2023)
Time:  4:10 P.M. - 5:05 P.M.
Fees:  $85 (M)*, $127 (NM), $170 (NR)

Open House: Family and friends will be invited to observe our class this Fall. Notices will be emailed in a timely fashion.
 
Teacher: Miss Camille
Miss Camille was a company member of American Ballet Theatre (NYC) and holds an MFA from New York University.  She is an ABT Certified Teacher in all levels and serves as a Teachers Training Course Examiner for the National Training Curriculum.
