A classic style of yoga moving with the breath. This class incorporates asana (poses), pranayama (breathing techniques) and short meditations. Holding poses a little longer offers more time for focus on alignment while strengthening and stretching. Appropriate for all levels. Some previous knowledge of yoga recommended.

After 15 years of dabbling in yoga classes, I was finally able to realize my long-term goal of attending teacher training. I finished my 200-hour teacher training at Shambavananda's Om Ananda Yoga in Fort Collins, CO in 2020. Since then, I have continued my education taking meditation and intermediate trainings and teaching in gyms, Air Force bases, studios, community centers and virtually. Having graduated during the Covid pandemic, I found the tools I needed to survive in today's stressful times and wish to share that with others in a welcoming, safe and fun environment.
