Meditation for Stress Reduction
Meditation is a process of stilling the thought waves of the mind to experience a state of
calmness beyond emotions and constructs. The more that we practice turning our attention
inside and focusing on something other than random thoughts, the more clarity, focus
and energy we will experience in our lives. Learn different techniques in this course to
squash anxiety, including: Breath Awareness; Mantra; Mindfulness; Tension Release and

After 15 years of dabbling in yoga classes, I was finally able to realize my long-term goal of attending teacher training. I finished my 200-hour teacher training at Shambavananda's Om Ananda Yoga in Fort Collins, CO in 2020. Since then, I have continued my education taking meditation and intermediate trainings and teaching in gyms, Air Force bases, studios, community centers and virtually. Having graduated during the Covid pandemic, I found the tools i needed to survive in today's stressful times and wish to share that with others in a welcoming, safe and fun environment.
