Oakwood Ballet
Ballet 1 (Ages 6 & 7, first grade)

Balance, grace and beauty are some of the elements that draw us to art of classical ballet. First grade students explore each of these elements within an organized, structural framework. Emphasis is on posture, full body coordination...and fun!
 
Oakwood Ballet Winter/Spring Overview: We offer two 6-week sessions in Winter/Spring. Open House-Spring Performance is scheduled for Wednesday April 30, 2025. Costume Measurement Day is February 5, 2025. No additional rehearsal time required. We would love for you to join us!
 
DRESS CODE: Pink footed tights, pink round neck short-sleeve leotard (Bloch # CL5402) pink leather ballet shoes (Bloch or Capezio). Hair in a bun. Pro Tip-Required Skirt: This course requires a specific ballet skirt which will be available at our first lesson at cost: $20.00. All additional supplies are available online: blochworld.com. Ballet shoes can be properly fitted in person at Got Dance, 2210 Andrew Road.

Spring Session: March 19, 2025 - April 30, 2025 (No lesson March 26, 2025)
Fees: $85 (M)*, $127 (NM), $170 (NR)
 
Open House-Spring Performance: Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Family and friends are invited!
 
Teacher: Miss Camille
Miss Camille was a company member of American Ballet Theatre (NYC) and holds an MFA from New York University.  She is an ABT Certified Teacher in all levels and serves as a Teachers Training Course Examiner for the National Training Curriculum.
