Oakwood Ballet
Ballet 2/3 (2nd & 3rd grades, with experience). Young dancers in Ballet 2/3 begin the study of barre work to deepen their understanding of classical ballet fundamentals. Aims of this course include steadily building coordination, working in a sound and healthy manner, and developing kinetic memory of technique learned. Musical awareness, which adds depth to the balance and beauty inherent in our art form, is supported with live piano accompaniment.
 
DRESS CODE: Girls: Pink footed tights, white round neck, short-sleeve leotard (Bloch # CL5402) pink leather ballet shoes (Bloch or Capezio). Hair in a bun. Boys: plain white tee shirt, black or navy shorts, white crew socks, white leather ballet shoes. 
Supplies:  White chiffon skirt available at: Dancewearsolutions.com. Type in search box: Balera S11175.  In-person fitting for ballet shoes recommended at "Got Dance" in Kettering.

Small Group Instruction: class size is limited.

Day & Time: Tuesday 3:50 P.M. - 4:50 P.M.
Fees:  $90 (M)*, $135 (NM), $180 (NR)

Instructor:  Miss Camille
Miss Camille performed professionally with American Ballet Theatre (NYC) and holds an MFA from New York University.  She is an ABT Certified Teacher in all levels and serves as an Examiner for the National Training curriculum.
