Writers will have the opportunity to learn, create, and receive feedback on a variety of poems, with each workshop focusing on a different theme. Together we will discuss rhyme schemes, poetic forms and more! Poetry is magic, and the study of it has the power to benefit you with your education, career, and self-expression throughout your life! You do not have to be perfect to be a poet, everyone is welcome.

Instructor: Pia Ortiz
Pia Ortiz has loved writing all her life. She holds a degree in Creative Writing and has studied poetry extensively for years under the tutelage of a wide variety of poetic influencers, including the family of Ezra Pound, who she lived with and learned from at their estate near Merano, Italy. Her writing has received multiple awards and publications.
