Oakwood Ballet
Young Intermediate Ballet (Ages 8-11, with experience)
This course, for experienced dancers in grades 3 -5, focuses on steadily building coordination through classical barre/center work in a sound and healthy manner. As dancers gain more technique, they discover the joy of putting steps together in adage, pirouette and allegro combinations. Exploring the power of music as a motivator, for both movement and emotional expression, is a guiding tenet of this important year of study. 
 
Oakwood Ballet Winter/Spring Overview: We offer two 6-week sessions in Winter/Spring. Open House-Spring Performance is set for May 1, 2025. Costume Measurement Day is February 6, 2025. No additional rehearsal time required. We would love for you to join us!
 
DRESS CODE: Pink footed tights, black Heart Mesh Cap Sleeve leotard (Bloch # CL8192) pink leather ballet shoes. Hair required to be in a bun. Pro Tip: All  supplies are available online: blochworld.com. Ballet shoes can be properly fitted in person at Got Dance, 2210 Andrew Road.

Winter Session: January 23, 2025 - March 13, 2025 (No lessons February 20 and 27, 2025)
Spring Session: March 20, 2025 - May 1, 2025 (No lesson March 27, 2025)
 
Fee: $95 (M)*, $142 (NM), $190 (NR)

Teacher: Miss Camille
Miss Camille was a company member of American Ballet Theatre (NYC) and holds an MFA from New York University.  She is an ABT Certified Teacher in all levels and serves as a Teachers Training Course Examiner for the National Training Curriculum.
