Young Intermediate Ballet (Ages 8-11, with experience)
This course, for experienced dancers entering grades 3-6, continues to build classical technique in a sound and healthy manner. Dancers learn to utilize kinetic memory as building blocks from which they increase their understanding of our beautiful art form. Throughout the year we explore the power of music as motivator for both movement and emotional expression.
Dress Code: Pink footed tights, Girls Alice Tank leotard, Aubergine (Bloch # CL4265) pink leather ballet shoes. Hair required to be in a bun. Pro Tip: All supplies are available online: blochworld.com Ballet shoes can be properly fitted in person at Got Dance, 2210 Andrew Road.
Oakwood Ballet Overview: We offer two 6-week sessions in the Fall and one 12-week session in Winter/Spring. All students are invited to participate in our low-stress, high happiness Spring Performance in late April. (No additional rehearsal time required.) Winter/Spring Registration opens December 1, 2025.

Miss Camille was a company member of American Ballet Theatre (NYC) and holds an MFA from New York University. She is an ABT Certified Teacher in all levels and serves as a Teachers Training Course Examiner for the National Training Curriculum.
