Holiday of Lights
Join us on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in Shafor Park for Oakwood’s beloved Holiday of Lights Celebration! Bring the whole family and enjoy an evening filled with music, lights and festive fun.
We’ll begin the night with the lighting of the Holiday Tree in Shafor Park, followed by a performance from the Oakwood High School Band. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride down Shafor Boulevard and enjoy the beautiful luminaries lighting the way.
Warm up with treats from our kettle corn food truck and a delicious hot chocolate bar. Plus, enjoy special visits from your favorite holiday characters — and of course, Santa himself will be there to hear everyone’s wish lists!
Come celebrate the season with your community and make magical memories at this year’s Holiday of Lights!
*If we have inclement weather, the event will be held in the Great Room at the Oakwood Community Center, 105 Patterson Rd.*
