Youth Ballet (Ages 8-12, with experience)
This course, for experienced dancers entering grades 3-6, continues to build classical technique in a sound and healthy manner. Dancers learn to utilize kinetic memory as building blocks from which they increase their understanding of our beautiful art form. Throughout the year we explore the power of music as motivator for both movement and emotional expression.
Dress Code: Pink footed tights, Girls Alice Tank leotard, Aubergine (Bloch # CL4265) pink leather ballet shoes. Hair required to be in a bun.
Pro Tip: All supplies are available online: blochworld.com. Ballet shoes can be properly fitted in person at Got Dance, 2210 Andrew Road.
Oakwood Ballet Overview: For Winter/Spring we are offering a “one-and-done” registration. Your streamlined registration includes 12 weeks of lessons and our Spring Performance. There is a Costume Fee of $20 due during Measurement Week on February 5, 2026. Our Performance is a low-stress high-happiness event with no additional rehearsal time required.

Open House: Our final Open House of the season will be our Spring Performance on Thursday April 30, 2026, at the usual lesson time. Notices will be emailed in a timely fashion.
Teacher: Miss Camille
Miss Camille was a company member of American Ballet Theatre (NYC) and holds an MFA from New York University. She is an ABT Certified Teacher in all levels and serves as a Teachers Training Course Examiner for the National Training Curriculum.
