Lessons will be instructed by KTC/Quail Tennis Club instructors on clay courts at Hollinger. The pro staff of KTC/Quail Tennis Club are known for consistently producing some of the area's finest champions, while teaching hundreds of youths and adults the joy of developing a lifelong sport. Their pros have created a complete and comprehensive program to enable all students to reach their maximum potential.
Youth - Ignition (Red Ball)
Our Ignition program is designed to ignite excitement in 5 - 7 year olds for the game of tennis. Our goal is to invigorate them and hopefully to help create lifetime tennis players! We want to provide sound fundamentals and teach the class within parameters created by the USTA. We use the red balls and 36’ courts for ultimate fun and development.
*Tennis lessons will be at Hollinger on clay courts.
**There will also be Private Lessons offered this year at Hollinger. Contact Carlos Estrada at 513-325-2269.
***Tennis Raquets are not provided. Please bring your own Tennis Raquet and Water to each lesson.
Cancellations and Make-up Policy:
- Classes will NOT be made up for classes missed for personal reasons (illness, vacation, schedule conflicts, etc.)
- Classes will NOT be made up due to weather conditions unless availability by the instructors.
- Weather cancellation notifications will be sent out through MyRec email blasts and text blasts and also will be announced on Oakwood's MyRec website.
Please make sure you have a correct email and cell number on your MyRec account and that our email address is added to your address book in your email. If not, you will need to check your junk email for any email blasts from MyRec.
Sessions are for 2 week periods and they are broken down into 2 options.
2 Days/Week: If registered for the 2 Days per Week session, the participant will choose which 2 days of the session they wish to attend. Must be within the time period for the session.
Unlimited Play: If registered for the Unlimited Play session, the participant can attend as many days in the session as they would like. Must be within the time period for the session.
Days: Monday - Wednesday
Dates: Session 1 - June 1 - June 10, 2026
Session 2 - June 15 - June 24, 2026
Session 3 - July 6 - July 15, 2026
Session 4 - July 20 - July 29, 2026
Times: 11:15 A.M. - 12:15 P.M.
Fees:
2 Days/Week - $75 (M)*, $112 (NM & NR)
Unlimited Play - $110 (M)*, $165 (NM & NR)
