Teen Social: Teen Art (Grades 6-8)
Class Description: Grades 6th -8th A safe Space to be yourself and create. From Drawing to sewing. Creating Zines and expressing your voice. Snacks provided. Come hang out, relax, play music and make art. A great way to meet new people and express your inner self and explore what the art world has to offer. All art mediums taught and lessons are never repeated.

Instructor: Heather Lockwood
Heather Lockwood is the Owner of Lockwood Creation Studio here in Dayton. Heather is a multi faceted mixed media artist as a member of the Dayton Society of Artists.. She has been teaching for over 20 years in Schools, the Dayton Art Institute, Muse Machine as well as her own studio. She is currently creating an immersive art installation in Atlanta Georgia to open this summer. Her teaching philosophy is no pressure, creating a comfortable place to create. Most importantly, her classes are FUN. Heather wants all who visit to feel as though they are at home hanging out with friends. It’s a safe place to be yourself and let your creativity roam free. Everyone is welcome. No one is excluded.
