Young Intermediate Ballet (Ages 7-10, with experience)
This class is for dancers with some experience, entering grades 2-4. It focuses on building classical technique in a sound and healthy manner. Dancers continue barre work to increase their understanding of ballet foundations. Center work highlights how dancers put together steps they are learning to form satisfying combinations. Throughout the year we explore the power of music as motivator for both movement and emotional expression.
Dress Code: Pink footed tights, short sleeve round neck lavender leotard: (Bloch # CL5402) pink leather ballet shoes. Hair required to be in a bun.
Pro Tip: All supplies are available online: blochworld.com. Ballet shoes can be properly fitted in person at Got Dance, 2210 Andrew Road.
Oakwood Ballet Overview: We offer two 6-week sessions in the Fall and one 12-week session in Winter/Spring. All students are invited to participate in our low-stress, high happiness Spring Performance in late April. (No additional rehearsal time required.) Winter/Spring Registration opens December 1, 2026.

Teacher: Miss Camille
Miss Camille was a company member of American Ballet Theatre (NYC) and holds an MFA from New York University. She is an ABT Certified Teacher in all levels and serves as a Teachers Training Course Examiner for the National Training Curriculum.
