Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies, including heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. When the heart stops, the lack of oxygenated blood can cause brain damage in only a few minutes. A person may die within eight to 10 minutes.  The accredited Basic CPR course will instruct the student in the fundamentals of the proper techniques to administer this lifesaving aid. His journey started more than 12 years ago while participating in a triathlon with his brother. Since then he has completed nine full marathons and just as many half-marathons. He enjoys recreational road cycling as well, and during the summer months you will find him leading the Clodbuster Base Ball Club out onto the field at Carillon Park. Nate's spinning classes are high energy and will include fast sprints and slow long climbs.
